On the A61 take exit 108 Erfstad. Then the B265 Zülpich-Vlatten. In Vlatten drive towards Heimbach. Drive through the village as far as the service station and then turn right towards Hausen-Nideggen.

Es handelt sich um einen in wunderschöner Landschaft gelgenen CP, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Rur. Leider auch direkt an der Rurtalbahn, die (auch am Wochenende) bereits gegen 05.00 Uhr den Campingplatz passiert und zur Viehwarnung mehrfach hupt. Die Sanitärreinrichtungen erinnern an eine Justizvollzugsanstalt (Blechurinale und WC) und werden ausserhalb der Saison einmal pro Woche gereinigt. Des weiteren werden 50 % der Kabinen in dieser Zeit verschlossen, um das Reinigungspersonal zu entlasten. Also Verdoppelung des negativen Effektes, zumal der Anteil der Dauercamper sehr hoch ist. Die Inhaberin ist sehr unfreundlich und rechthaberisch. Wer Kasernenhof-atmosphäre mag, wird sich heimisch fühlen. Der Müll darf nur zu bestimmten Zeiten entsorgt werden. Dazu muss man mit seinen Müllbeuteln recht weit den Berg hochmarschieren. Eine Parzellierung der Plätze gibt es so gut wie nicht. Versorgung am Stellplatz (ausser Strom) gibt es keine. Insgesamt sind drei Spülgelegenheiten vorhanden.

Sehr netter Campingwirt, wunderschönes Sommerfest im August 2010, sehr gepflegte Kinderspielplätze, saubere Toilettenanlage, auch Hunde sind Willkommen.

Lagerfeuer auf dem Campingplatz wird geduldet und macht für Kinder sehr viel Spaß.

Die Besitzer sind sehr unfreundlich und arrogant.Von der Rezeption bis zum Campingbereich sind es 900 Meter (nachgemessen).Von 13 bis 15Uhr ist die Schranke geschlossen,damit die Dauercamper nicht gestört werden.(Aussage der Besitzer) Allerdings war laute Musik bis nach Mitternacht geduldet.Man darf nicht grillen oder Feuer machen,es wurden aber an vielen Stellen große Feuerstellen geduldet.Wir hatten Bedenken wegen Funkenflug,was aber als Bagatelle vom Personal (Besitzer)abgetan wurde."Mein Gott,das bischen Lärm und Feuer".

Selbst auf die Wiese pinkelnde NL Camper wurden geduldet. Kommentar:Wir können ja nicht mit jedem zur Toilette gehen. Leider fährt eine kleine Eisenbahn am Campingplatz entlang. Jeden Morgen,auch Sonntags hupt diese Bahn zum ersten Mal gegen 5.40 Uhr,weil ein Bahnübergang überfahren wird. Man fällt regelrecht aus dem Bett. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und zum Glück gibt es noch andere Campingplätze in der Nähe. Wir haben beschlossen,nie mehr wieder "Gut Habersaul"

Der Platz liegt sehr schön gelegen in der Rureifel. In 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in Heimbach. Folgende Punkte sind mir aufgefallen: kostenlosen Hotspot funktioniert aber nur im Eingangsbereich. Der Platz für Kurzurlauber ist aber knapp 500 Meter entfernt. Im Dusch-Waschraum befinden sich keine Sitzgelegenheiten. Leider fehlt auch eine Ablagefläche in der Dusche. Die Automatikwasserhähne funktionieren nur sehr schlecht und schalten alle 2 Sekunden ab. Aus meiner Dusche kam so wenig Wasser das ich fast 5 Min. beschäftigt war den Schaum aus den Haaren zu bekommen. Die Qualität des Essens im Restaurant entsprach überhaupt nicht meinen Vorstellungen. Am Abreisetag kann man solange bleiben wie man will und das kostenlos.
