Wij waren van 23 januari t/m 4 februari 2010 op deze camping en zijn daarom volledig ingesneeuwd geweest. Toen we aangaven dat we de volgende dag wilden vertrekken, werd de plaats rondom onze caravan met een auto met sneeuwschuiver sneeuwvrij gemaakt: een klus van drie kwartier. En dat alles zonder er om te hoeven vragen.

Wij vinden deze services dan ook fantastisch: zeker als je het koppelt aan de algemene vriendelijkheid van de campingmedewerkers. Wij komen hier zeker, vooral in de winter, terug! Overigens kun je inderdaad tussen 13.00 en 15:00 en 's-nachts niet de camping op, maar de slagboom "naar buiten" functioneert dag en nacht in verband met noodgevallen.

Geweest in de herfstvakantie. Vriendelijk ontvangen op een rustige camping. Het zwembad is redelijk maar wel gedateerd. Het restaurant is ook redelijk maar niet flexibel (bijvoorbeeld patat in plaats van brood bij spare ribs). Geen dessert in verband met laatste week open voor wintersluiting (raar). Verder prima omgeving, mooi gelegen, schitterende fietstocht langs het meer naar Meschede. Sanitair goed verwarmd en ruim opgezet. Nadeel vinden wij de ruhezeit tussen 1 en 3 uur 's middags. Dan is er geen verkeer op de camping mogelijk en met een camper is dat lastig. Een auto zet je op het parkeerterrein. Verder prima!

Het personeel is weinig flexibel. Openingstijden worden star gehandhaafd, ook in bijzondere omstandigheden. Hoe is het in noodsituaties?
Het restaurant is niet erg schoon, het eten merkwaardig (cordon-bleu met een sausje erover) en de bediening matig.

Wij hebben een nieuwe stacaravan gehuurd welke enkele weken geleden waren geplaatst. De caravan was ontzettend ruim (11 x 3 meter) met 3 slaapkamers (voor 6 personen) met daaraan vast nog een grote buiten veranda van 8 x 3 meter waar we 's avonds heerlijk konden zitten. De accomodatie was gewoon een dikke 10, de camping een 8 en de omgeving een hele dikke 9. Veel te doen en te zien in de omgeving voor alle leeftijden!
