A small campsite in a beautiful setting. The campsite is well cared for but quite expensive especially if there are more than 2 of you. You have to book for long minimum periods during bank holidays, i.e. 5 days.

Terrific location in the heart of the New forest, surrounded by ponies and wildlife! Touring pitches OK, would be much improved with hard standing full service pitches (with on pitch water and drainage) though. I've been several times and there's a terrific pub on the site as well which is great if you fancy a night out !

Campsite, nice, had good pitch. One friendly member of staff, others seemed to be not so friendly, one spoke to us in a patronising way. I was also not happy, as a female to find after a shower in the evening to be faced by a male member of staff cleaning the facilities as i used them. Food was nice in the Red Shoot Inn, although we had to comlain about under/over cooking of 2 dishes over 3 seperate days.
