Our first visit to this part of Wales and what a find this campsite and the area was. Campsite well laid out with spacious pitches but those with EHU a little exposed in bad weather. Didn't spoil our visit though. Toilet and washing up (outside) facilities always clean with plenty of hot water. Very useful cafe/shop at entrance to site. Devil's Bridge waterfalls only 200 yards from site. The surrounding mountain area was very scenic with plenty of walking opportunities. Aberystwyth about 20 mins drive away. A lovely seaside town with restaurants, supermarket, lovely beach and ruined castle. Had a lovely welcome and meal at the Halfway Inn, Pisgah (A4120) about 10 mins from site. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. The campsite runs alongside a livestock farm, lambing season when we visited and the site has a strong theme of agriculture, with historical pieces of farm machinary on display. It is very clean and well kept site. There is a cafe at the entrance to the site which was only open during the day when we visited. A five minute walk and you're at devil's bridge, worth a visit. A couple of minutes more and you're in the village (the road isn't lit at night and so a torch is advisable) where there is a hotel/bar, bistro and village shop which is small but has essentials. The Vale of Rheidol Railway is also in the village which is a steam railway and runs to and from Aberystwyth and takes about an hour. This campsite isn't a 4 star site with all their facilities, but it certainly makes up for it with the natural beauty of the area, cleanliness & friendliness, peace and quite and fresh air. We will certainly revisiting this beautiful cared for site.
