Patras to Corinth motorway. Exit at Akrata onto Old Nat. Road, then turn left and the camp site is located 2 km further on just after the river. See signs.

Als je eenmaal op deze camping bent geweest kom je er terug. De camping is kleinschalig en gezellig en ligt direct aan het strand. We zijn er in 2008 voor het eerst geweest en in 2009 hebben we er tweemaal een bezoek gebracht.

Rustige en mooi aan zee gelegen camping. Zeer vriendelijke beheerders. Alle voorzieningen vernieuwd en aangepast. Camping leent zich voor het maken van uitstapjes en dagtrips. Delfi, Kalavryta, Diakofto en tochten naar het achtergelegen bergland.

Aardige Griek die samen met echtgenote de camping runt. De toiletgroepen zijn voor verbetering vatbaar. In september 2007 waren de funderingen voor het nieuwe toiletgebouw gelegd. Het gebouw zou volgens plan in mei 2008 gereed moeten zijn. Camping ligt een uur rijden van Patras. Je mag 's middags wat langer op de camping blijven staan, wanneer je 's avonds naar de boot moet in Patras.

Direct aan strand gelegen camping met kleine plaatsen, sanitair wordt vernieuwd. Brood op bestelling in klein winkeltje. Bijzonder aardige en hulpvaardige eigenaar.

Ein feiner und kleiner Campingplatz direkt am Meer, der mit den sanitären Einrichtungen im Vergleich zu anderen griechischen Campingplätzen herausragt. Die Atmosphäre auf dem Platz ist familiär. Allerdings muss an Wochenenden mit lebhaften Gästen gerechnet werden.

Die Lage von Akratas eignet sich besonders, um Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Agia Lavra, Kalavrita,Mega Spileon, die Zahnradbahn sowie die Bergwelt des Helmos gut zu erreichen. Anfahrt von Patras Richtung Athen auf der neuen Nationalstraße Ausfahrt Akratas nutzen, im Ort links circa 2 Kilometer, auf der Brücke rechts einbiegen. Nicht gut beschildert.
