Near Bellinzona Sud drive towards Locarno as far as the village Quartino. Then drive towards Luino and follow it as far as Maccagno. The camp site is located in Maccagno on the 2nd street to the right after the bridge.

Geen bijzondere camping, maar wel een supervakantie gehad. Kleinschalig, daardoor snel contacten. Eerste zaterdag van augustus is belangrijke feestdag met muziek en vuurwerk. Aanrader! Prachtige omgeving, dorpjes, wandelingen, varen, uitstapjes. Nogmaals, de camping is geen topper, maar absoluut voldoende voor een heerlijke vakantie. Wij komen zeker terug!

De afstand naar het dorp is klein maar er is weinig te doen, geen boulevard, winkeltjes of gezellige terrasjes. De plaatsen op de camping zijn klein en zet je op je kleine plaats ook nog een klein tentje extra dan moet je daarvoor betalen, heb je een voortent voor je caravan met extra tent eraan, dan betaal je dat niet. Vreemd. Sanitair verouderd en niet al te schoon. Voor de kinderen een gezellig kinderclubje, helaas maar een uurtje per dag, alleen bij mooi weer. Wij hadden de pech veel slecht weer te treffen. Verder voor hun geen vertier behalve een tafeltennistafel.

We verbleven in de maand juli voor de eerste keer op deze kleine maar super gezellige camping. We hebben er een hele toffe vakantie gehad, zowel de volwassenen als de kinderen (het personeel is heel kindvriendelijk), het sanitair is proper en de camping rustig en verzorgd. Aan en in het water was het ook heerlijk vertoeven voor groot en klein, niet te druk en een schitterend uitzicht op de bergen. Het is zeker een aanrader en wij komen zeker terug!
