We came for 2 days and stay 16, including flying other family out. Had a pitch right on the lake edge which was warm enough to swim in. The toilets were always clean, even on busy weekends. We will be going back this year.

Leuke camping met toegang tot het meer. Het plaatsje Orta San Giulio is erg leuk. De kampeerplaatsen variëren in grootte. Het sanitair aan hoogste terassen van deze terrasvormig aangelegde camping is modern en wordt zeer goed onderhouden. De service om de caravan naar de plaats te transporteren is erg prettig in verband met de steile toegangswegen naar de terassen.

De camping wordt door een (drukke) weg in tweeën gedeeld. Langs het meer is het een gezellige boel, maar de plaatsen zijn krap.
Veel herrie van de weg en spoorlijn, maar de ligging en het uitzicht maken veel goed.
Het plaatsje Orta San Giulio ligt op loopafstand en is wonderbaarlijk mooi.
Je kunt er via verscheidene mooie routes naar toe lopen. Het dorpje en het eiland in het meer lijken wel geschapen te zijn door Anton Pieck ! Al met al een aanrader ...

Einfacher Platz, leider durch die Hauptstrasse oberer und unterer Teil getrennt und viel Strassenlärm. Im oberen Teil schwierige Zufahrt. Die Seeplätze sehr schön, aber klein und eng. Empfang sehr nett, gutes Deutsch. Sanitäranlagen recht gut (WC-Brillen und -Deckel!), leichte Schäden. Leider sind Duschen kostenpflichtig (€ 0.20). Nahe beim Ort, leider ohne Trottoir.

Gezellige kleine camping aan het mooie meer van Orta. Er zijn diverse Nederlandse stellen die hier al 8 of meer jaren komen.
Als je de drukke weg door de camping voor lief neemt is het een heerlijke, vriendelijke camping
