In oktober op deze camping gestaan met een buscamper (1 van onze verhuurcampers). Het was even zoeken naar de camping en de weg er naar toe is echt door het bos en volhouden. Het handigst is het om Pieve Fosciana aan te houden en dan de bordjes te volgen. Vanuit Castelnuovo di Garfagnana zijn de weggetjes erg smal.
Verder een heerlijke camping op de heuvels met uitzicht op Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. Eenvoudig maar prima wat ons betreft.
Wandelen en uitstapjes naar bijv de Grotta del Vento zijn prima mogelijk. De camping had een klein winkeltje met etenswaren en drinken/wijnen. En ook wandelkaarten van de omgeving.
De eigenaresse sprak een beetje Engels, maar niet veel.

Prachtige rustige camping waar we in het hoogste seizoen van Italië in alle rust erg ruime plaatsen hadden. Waarschijnlijk omdat je deze camping sowieso al moeilijk kan vinden en totaal onbereikbaar is voor mobilhomes of caravans. De weg terug naar beneden is zelfs erg smal voor gewone auto's. Maar verder een geweldige camping voor diegenen die van rust houden. Personeel spreekt echter enkel Italiaans en betalingen waren cash als ik mij goed herinner.
