SS3 Flaminia, from Fano or Rome. 2 km from the SS3 in Costacciaro. Follow the signs at km-marker 206,5 on the Via Flaminia SS3 (Fano-Folligno). The camp site is located on a steep winding road.

Een leuke kleine camping met prachtig zwembad. Vriendelijk personeel/eigenaren. Zeer geschikt voor wandelaars. Prima restaurant, waar je voor een redelijke prijs goed kunt eten. Dit jaar was er op de camping een wedstrijd in truffelzoeken door honden. Een keer daarvoor was het het eindpunt van een uithoudingsrace voor paarden. Wij kwamen er al een keer of vijf. Dat zal wel genoeg zeggen.

Redelijk verwaarloosde boomgaard met een ouderwets sanitair. Te kleine hoeveelheid warm water voor handen, zelfs geen warm water om de afwas te doen wegens warm-waterpanelen.

Ik kom al zo'n 20 jaar op deze heerlijke camping. Destijds hebben we deze camping gevonden, omdat mijn vriend en ik als delta-vliegers (vanaf de Monte Cucco) een onderkomen zochten met onze tent. Sindsdien zijn we regelmatig teruggeweest, ook met mijn vrouw en de caravan.

De omgeving is erg mooi. Zeer geschikt voor wandelen, fietsen, paardrijden of gewoon toeren met de auto. De camping zelf is ook fraai gelegen, je kunt onder andere tussen de bomen van een voormalige appelboomgaard staan.

De camping wordt geleid door twee aardige zussen en dat heeft blijkbaar zijn weerslag op de gasten. De meesten zijn vriendelijke mensen die rustig hun eigen vertier zoeken. Die zussen kunnen 's avonds in het restaurant/kantine bovendien ook nog erg lekker koken. Vertier is er overigens in de vorm van een mooi zwembad en je kunt er ook een tafeltennisballetje slaan.
