Voor dat we boekten hebben we op veel sites gekeken over de camping en de beoordeling van andere gelezen. We dachten, dat zal allemaal wel mee vallen. De camping heeft mooie grote plaatsen, plaatsen niet goed schoon, veel glas. Omgeving zeer mooi. Personeel onvriendelijk. Als het geregend heeft kom je met de auto niet meer weg door de leemgrond. Sanitair goed schoon maar verouderd. Mijn vrouw slecht te been, sleutel invalide douche gekregen, géén klapstoeltje, géén alarmkoord, vloer spekglad, wc veel te laag, wc papier ligt los op fontein 2 meter verder op. Eten en drinken bar slecht, personeel eet enz ziet er zeer onverzorgd uit, mogen zich wel eens douchen, en naar de kapper gaan zelf beste klant. Autoweg niet storend, wel personeel camping, die steeds maar rondjes rijden met de auto plus aanhanger. Niks te krijgen, zelf niet iets voor chem toilet. 8.1 beoordeling, wij komen nog niet aan een 4. Nee hier komen we niet meer terug, niet op deze camping. Gem Consdorf doe er wat aan.

Een mooi gelegen camping in een schitterende omgeving. Wel jammer dat een voormalige camping er geheel verwaarloosd bij ligt. Lijkt me onveilig voor kinderen.
Wandelingen zijn mogelijk direct vanaf de camping in verschillende richtingen

Wat jammer van de slechte beoordeling van de meneer hieronder. Wij komen al 8 jaar met tussenpozen naar deze camping en daaruit blijkt dat wij zeer tevreden zijn. De weg onderaan de camping is goed hoorbaar zeker als je langs de rand van de camping staat. Echter regelmatig last van een vliegtuig heb ik in al die jaren niet kunnen constateren en breeek daarom een lans voor deze camping. Wel is het prachtig als je er eind juli, begin augustus staat, tijdens het ballonfestifal van Echternach. Dan komen de ballonnen rakelings over de bomen van de camping heen, dit is een zeer spectaculair gezicht. Dus zeker een camping om eens te bezoeken als je een keer niet ver wilt rijden en toch in een compleet ander landschap vakantie wil vieren.

Camping biedt een mooi uitgangspunt voor wandelingen en pittige fietstochten, beginnend op de camping.
Helaas ligt de camping boven de Rue de Müllerthal, waar veel motoren langs scheuren en er frekwent doorgaand verkeer is dat bergopgaand flink te horen is.
De camping ligt op een vliegroute met regelmatig laagvliegende toestellen.
Gevraagd naar een kampwinkel verwijst de beheerder naar Echternach, ook voor een enkele boodschap, terwijl later blijkt dat de lokale bakker een assortiment heeft dat vergelijkbaar is met een kampwinkel.
Er is een (dure) WIFI verbinding beschikbaar, echter met een zeer beperkt bereik op de camping.

Er is een restaurant met Nederlandse verzorging, vriendelijk, gezellig: prima.

Onaangenaam vond ik de gang van zaken rond ons vertrek: vanwege een lange reis wilden we op tijd vertrekken: we mochten echter niet de dag voor vertrek afrekenen en konden pas tegen 9 uur met gemopper de zaken afronden.

Ik heb samen met mijn vrouw en jongste dochter (12 jaar) er het verlengde weekeinde doorgebracht van 22-24 mei. Met een tent, het sanitair is heel goed onderhouden, prachtige wandelwegen, hele mooi streek, grote plaatsen ... .
De wandelwegen starten op de camping zelf wat het heel aangenaam maakt, kortom een zeer geslaagde en aan te bvelen camping.
