From Belgium E25 direction Luxembourg, exit 1 direction Steinfort. Straight on at roundabout direction Septfontaines. Right after 300 metres direction Goeblange. Right at end of road and immediately left towards Simmerschmelz. Camp site 3 km on right.

De omgeving van de camping is prima. De camping zelf is verouderd en er staan veel stacarvans waardoor het erg rommelig is.

Rommelige indruk bij oprijden camping; veel zelfbouwsels op de jaarplaatsen.
Plaatsen liggen erg dicht op elkaar, er is weing privacy.
Receptie is een oud hok, net als het winkeltje. Hier verkopen ze voornamelijk ALDI spullen en is het vaak voordeliger dan de supermarkt. In het hoogseizoen elke dag vers brood op bestelling.
In de 'bistro' (gewoon een kantine) wordt veel gerookt, behalve met etenstijd. Eten is er goed.
Campingpersoneel is aardig, de eigenaar is wat vreemd.
In het seizoen wordt voor jong en oud iets georganiseerd, programma is elke week hetzelfde.
Het zwembad is onverwarmd, toezicht is matig.
Speeltuintje is ouderwets (kindonvriendelijk), dus je kind leert snel uitkijken bij de schommels en zo.
Sanitais is verouderd maar netjes en wordt regelmatig schoongemaakt. Douches zijn keihard en zéér heet; kinderen kunnen er haast niet onder.
Camping ligt in een dal: 's morgens heeft de ene helft zon, 's middags de andere helft en 's avonds om 7 uur is de zon weg.

Wij hadden de camping uit het boekje Rustiek Kamperen gehaald; wat een teleurstelling! We voelden ons niet op ons gemak: Hollandse Volksmuziek, iemand lag te sleutelen onder een auto, uitgebouwde stacaravans, receptie een hele oude troep, er werd gerookt en die rook hangt overal in (ook in het winkeltje) en geen lach rond de mond van het personeel gezien. Toch het voordeel van de twijfel gegeven. Douches werden van koud steeds heter, dusdanig dat de kinderen huilden bij het haar uitspoelen. Het kampvuur 's avonds was een verbranding van alle oude caravan materialen, welke de kinderen er op gooiden; levensgevaarlijk! Wij zijn de volgende ochtend gelijk weer vertrokken. Niets rustieks aan deze camping. Sorry.

Wij zijn er met 2 jonge kinderen van 2 en 3 geweest. Voor de animatie dus net iets te jong. Als je naar de andere kinderen kijkt, zie je dat het gewoon prima geregeld is. Petje af voor de personen van het animatieteam. Vwb het sanitair zie je veel commentaar aangaande de verouderde staat. Het valt allemaal nog al mee. Wordt vaak schoongemaakt, is inderdaad niet het meest moderne, maar ja, wat wil je, dan moet je naar een 5 sterren hotel gaan. Al het personeel is erg vriendelijk en probeert echt alles naar ieders zin te regelen. Dat je niet iedereen tevreden kunt houden, is een gegeven op een plek waar veel mensen bij elkaar zijn. Plekken zijn groot genoeg voor een caravan, bijzettent en auto. Onze plek lag de hele dag in de zon, met aan de overkant een boompje voor de nodige schaduw. Al met al een supervakantie gehad en hier komen we zeker nog een keer terug.

Personeel vriendelijk, eigenaar heeft vreemde opmerkingen en wij vonden hem niet zo vriendelijk.
