De camping was eigenlijk niet dat wat wij er van verwacht hadden. Voor een kind van 2 waren de speeltoestellen te groot. Kinderen lopen vanaf het speelterrein eenvoudig een drukke weg op omdat de hekken open staan. Na het meest dichtbij gelegen strand is het 2 kilometer (half uur) lopen door de duinen wat niet altijd even prettig is met een wandelwagen. Dit strand is alleen per fiets of te voet te bereiken. Het warm douchen koste 60 eurocent per 4,5 minuten. De eerste halve minuut is het wachten op warm water. In het douchegebouw hing continue een rioollucht.

Wij hebben enorm genoten van de rust, de grootte van de plaats en het feit dat het sanitair geweldig was.

Ein sehr schöner platz sehr gepflegt mitten in den dünen, nur leider keine angebote von aktivitäten ausserhalb der Hochsaison. Bis zum strand sind es circa 1,5 Kilometer was aber nicht so schlimm ist da man über die dünenlandschaft sehr gemütlich gehen kann ein sehr schönes naturschutzgebiet.
Man teilt den weg sich mit Rindern die aber solange man sie in ruhe lässt nix zubefürchten har. Wir fahren da immer wieder gerne hin auch ausserhalb der Hochsaison.
Die ruhe die man auf diesen campingplatz erlebt ist einmalig entlich mal los lassen können und einfach die natur genissen. Da wir keine kinder haben kann ich darüber nix schreiben aber was ich so bis jetzt sah hat De Lepelaar für ihre kleinen gäste auch was zu bieten.

Wij waren er na Pinksteren inderdaad het sanitair mag wel wat vaker schoongemaakt worden dat zag er niet altijd fris uit, en eten in het restaurantje kon niet want die was gewoon gesloten in de folder stond vermeld dat je er altijd heerlijk kon eten (niet dus). Autovrije camping moest het zijn nou de campers rijden er gewoon heen en weer tussen de tenten en caravans hoezo autovrij? (fietsen op de camping mag niet want dat zou gevaarlijk zijn voor de kleine kindertjes ) auto in en uit pakken langs een drukke en gevaarlijke weg zeker met kleine kinderen maak een parkeerplaats die wat groter is want hier vallen nog eens slachttoffers!

Slecht onderhouden sanitair; het stinkt en is vies. Te weinig ruimte om te kamperen en te parkeren. Drukke weg, weinig te doen voor de kinderen en onvriendelijk personeel m.u.v. de trekker-bestuurder. Een soort kampeer-zandbak met een hoop lawaai !
