Der Platz ist südlich von Rotterdam gelegen. Ein Sandstrand (Rheinmündung zur Nordsee, war voller Algen) ist ca. 500m entferent und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besser: Wirklich schöner Nordseestrand hinter dem Deich bei Rockanje! Entweder zu Fuß (ca 3 km) oder Umweg mit Auto. Dort auch gute Restaurants/Imbiss. In der Umgebung einige Sehenswürdigkeiten. Eisenbahnmuseum Ouddorp mit Museumsbahn, Deltawerke, Leuchttürme, ca. 40 min Autofahrt bis Rotterdam. Waren schon vier mal dort und werden wieder hinfahren! Nette Leute, sauberer Platz, in den Ferien Kinderanimation (Hüpfburg mit Planschbecken, Helloweenpartys, Treckerfahrten...) Der Ort gehört zu Hellevoetsluis, 5 min mit dem Auto. Dort großes Einkaufszentrum, Lebensmittelläden (Lidl...). Im Spätsommer "Vestingdagen", Festungstage also, großes Stadtfest, sehenswert!
