Helemaal in het voorseizoen een heerlijk rustige camping zonder disco. De camping ligt 300 meter van het superstrand, wat ook bij minder weer super is. Er is een prachtig achterland met historie. Er is een kordaat optredend, vriendelijk beheerdersechtpaar. Men is nuchter, maar zeer ontvankelijk voor een praatje of een advies voor een dagtripje.

Broodjesverkoop van een goede bakker 's morgens zou wel plezierig zijn. Nu moet je een bungalowparkje op, maar al het brood van deze bakker heeft dezelfde neutrale smaak. Dit vonden we dus niks. Voor de liefhebbers is er 's morgens wel een vers eitje te koop en de Telegraaf. Kortom: een camping om nog eens te bezoeken. Wij hebben er 3 weken met veel plezier gestaan. Ook met slecht weer is er volop gelegenheid om de dag te vullen in de omgeving. Ook zijn de velden keurig gemaaid en sta je goed veschut.

Camping Schippers ist ein sehr schöner mittelgroßer Familiencampingplatz. Die Parzellen sind groß und die Sanitäreinrichtungen sehr sauber. Er liegt circa 300 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Am Strand finden Sie eine extra für Kleinkinder angelegte Bucht. Die Strände von Zeeland gelten als die saubersten an der Nordsee. Der Platz an sich ist sehr ruhig. Gastronomie, Supermarkt oder ein Schwimmbad findet man auf diesem Platz nicht. Dafür aber in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Ich fahre mittlerweile seit 7 Jahren dort hin und werde es vermutlich auch die nächsten 10 Jahre noch tun. Meine Kinder fühlen sich dort wie zu Hause.
