On the N268 from Vila do Bispo (9 km) to Sagres. In Sagres drive towards Cabo S. Vincente and follow the sign. After approx. 1 km the camp site is on the right of the road. Follow the signs.

Arrived here after travelling down from Northern Portugal. Area a bit reminiscent of Cornwall. The campsite is simple but clean. In February no other facilities on offer apart from very basic groceries and fresh bread. Some noise from nearby dogs (possibily a kennel?) and goat herder with a large contingent of his loose dogs closeby, who is around for various parts of the day. Uncomfortable if you bring your own dogs on lead. The distance to centre village by foot is fairly long, so if you are in a motorhome, you need to have bikes for shopping. Not much to do or see in village, but the surrounding countryside is interesting.

Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal, jeden Tag frisches Brot, sogar Silvester und Neujahr. Gute Ver- und Entsorgunsmöglichkeit für Wohnmobile. Die Umgebung ist natürlich phantastisch mit den Klippen und dem Meer am Ende von Europa.

Toilet block a little tired but very clean. No hot water in dishwashing area but could have been time of year. Lovely area. Very pleasant staff. Excellent value for money.

Large quiet spread out site, well organised by friendly staff speaking good English. Fairly good range of groceries. Flat & level pitches for caravans / motorhomes using concrete strips. Sanitary excellent. Europlug electrics. Average rates, average value.

Leuke camping in bosrijke omgeving. Het meest Zuidwestelijke punt van het Europese vasteland is vlakbij. Bovendien een oud Moors fort in de buurt. Camping is gemoedelijk; biedt veel rust en ruimte. Kamperen in het bos. Alles wat er moet zijn, is er ook, maar het blijft een beetje minimalistisch. Voor de prijs een prima camping.
