Good small camp site next to a large man-made lake (barragem). Very economical and allows you to feel 'far from the madding crowd'. Some residents, Dutch, German and Portuguese so check availability before you go. Watch your navigator as mine, TomTom, took me through a two track and then over the dam, a bit frightening with a 2.5m wide Hobby. Staff not very helpful and you have to pay in cash. No restaurant etc. at the site but the town of Macao is close and is OK for most stuff. Good fun on the lake inc. jet ski and fishing.

Deze 5-jaar oude camping wordt prima onderhouden, ligt mooi aan een stuwmeer met een fantastisch restaurant "Lena" er naast waar je een 3-gangen menu met wijn en koffie en een drankje krijgt voorgeschoteld, elke dag een ander dagmenu. Camping grenst aan het stationnetje waar dagelijks treinen van en naar Faro/Lissabon en Castelo Branco vertrekken. Weing geluidshinder. In tegenstelling met de voorliggende gegevens zijn er niet meer dan een 60-tal plaatsen in totaal, vrij klein dus, daardoor
moet de auto buiten geparkeerd worden.

Ein sehr ruhig gelegener Platz, nirgendwo waren die Sanitäranlagen sauberer! Keine Unterhaltung, Möglichkeit zum Einkauf vorhanden, Gemeinschaftskühlschrank.
