From the north take exit Mira on A17. Then follow the 334 to Praia de Mira. At the roundabout follow the signs to the camp site. Follow Orbitur signs.

Super komme immer wieder nach Praia de Mira es ist so schön da. Wenn man dort ist vergisst man alles um sich herum denn es ist wie ein Traum. Links auf der Straßenseite ist der See und rechts der schöne Strand und man kann günstig und lecker essen gehen.

Ik had van Orbitur meer verwacht. De camping van eigenlijk vol, maar iedereen die kwam mocht kijken of er nog een plekje was, sommigen propten hun tent of caravan op de kleinste plekjes, er was nauwelijks controle op. Wij hadden geluk dat er net iemand weg ging. Daardoor hadden we een riante plek. Doordat de camping zo vol was, was het sanitair niet al te fris. De schoonmakers deden hun best, maar er was nauwelijks tegen op te poetsen. Als je aan het eind van de middag warm wilde douchen, stond je een kwartier in de rij te wachten. Jammer, als de camping minder vol is, is het daar prima. Dicht bij het mooie strand met een gezellige strandbar met vriendelijke mensen.

Rustige camping en vrije keuze van plaatsen. Let wel op het mulle zand want voor je het weet zit je vast. Dus even verkennen voor je doorrijdt. Het strand is een klein stukje lopen en de moeite waard. Wij waren best tevreden met deze camping! We hebben Coimbra en Aveiro bezocht.

Eind maart 2008 op deze camping 5 nachten verbleven. Schoon sanitair. Weinig medekampeerders. Op loopafstand van de oceaan en ligt beschut in een bos. Goede camping voor het bezoeken van Porto en Coimbra. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

Een driedaags verblijf geeft niet de ruimte voor een uitgebreide beoordeling, maar het is een nette camping met goed sanitair en veel ruimte zeker in voor en naseizoen. Voor het hoofdseizoen zeker niet aan te bevelen. Wel een fijne plek voor bezoeken aan Coimbra met aan de andere kant het strand en de oceaan om weer uit te waaien.
