On A49 Sevilla-Huelva, take exit to Almonte. Over the N483 direction El Rocio. In El Rocio continue as far as roundabout and go back 100 metres. Camp site is fairly well visible on the right of the road.

3.4.-12.3.2009 Ostern Acsi-Kunden werden Parzellen zugeteilt. Man muss sich energisch wehren, wenn man eine andere Parzelle will. Die Dauerkamper stehen mitten in den zugeteilten Parzellen. Wenn sie auftauchen, sind die Sanitaeranlagen ohne Ekel nicht zu benutzen. Dazu kommt eine Lautstaerke, die schwer zu ertragen ist. Man sollte darauf hinweisen, dass Sie konzentriert werden. So zogen manche um, andere reisten vorzeitig ab. Der Platz hat viel Atmossphaere und ist sehr empfehlenwert.

We visited this site in early '08 with the intention to stay one night. We remained for a week and will return. Wonderful site and town which grows to 1 million population when the Andalucians come in their decorated wagons in the beginning of May. Full of terraced chapels with fascinating designs. Interesting history. Wonderful birdlife and several nature parks for walking and bird watching. Only 15 kilometers from the coast road toward Huelva and Colombus museum.

This is one of the few places where you are not charged a fortune because you have a dog. We will return in February this year for a longer period if the ACSI card discounts still exist. The only is that the restaurant wasn't very good. However, there are (more expensive) restaurants in town.We could never find the supermarket. Stock up in advance if you come. Shopping in Matalascanas is expensive. In the Winter there's only one shop and very few cafes open.

Der Platz ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand, sehr sauber und freundliches Personal. Schnell zu erreichen die Küste, der Doñana Park, absolut sehenswert. Der Ort El Rocío hat einen ganz eigenen Charme, man kommt sich vor, wie in einem Western, die sandigen Straßen, vor den Geschäften und Kneipen stehen Pferde. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Het is moeilijk manouvreren met de caravan in verband met drempels en afvoergoten langs de zandpaden. Zonder mover is het lastig om de caravan op z'n plaats te krijgen. De plaatsen vonden wij ruim, maar erg open. Dit komt vooral door de lage bomen en het struikgewas.

El Rocio is leuk om te bezoeken. Donana vonden wij niet veel voorstellen in september. Het was te droog en er waren dus weinig vogels. En Donana kun je niet echt in. Voor vogel- en natuurliefhebbers is dit geen plek om terug te komen. Op de camping is er veel overlast van vliegen, waarschijnlijk vanwege de vele paarden in de omgeving.
