A7/E15, exit 39. Take the N340 and turn at km-marker 1113 to L'Ametlla de Mar. Follow the signs, just before reaching the town turn right. After 2.5 km you reach the camp site.

Voor de maand november een prima doorgangscamping. De plaatsen zijn niet al te groot. Tegen betaling is er draadloos internet. Prachtige omgeving, zoals zandstrandjes. Het stadje zelf vonden wij niet geweldig, maar er is wel een supermarkt. Ook heerst er een Spaanse sfeer.

Mooie verzorgde camping. Prima sanitair en de staanplaatsen zijn voldoende ruim. Het grote probleem is Ametlla zelf. Het is een ongezellig dorp met triestige restaurants die diepvries opdienen alsof het vers is.

De camping laat kampeerders met een campingcard op een apart terrein staan. De plekken zijn klein en moeilijk toegankelijk. Het sanitair is prachtig, schoon en geriefelijk.

Wij waren hier in het voorseizoen 2007, restaurant was gesloten, supermarkt was op woensdag gesloten, toegang naar camping is een smalle slingerweg met een steille klim, pas op met tegenliggers, campingplaats is niet al te groot en heeft weinig schaduw, camping is rond deze tijd ongezellig stil en verlaten.

Deze camping mag je niet missen als je met kinderen op vakantie gaat. De animatie is super en gebeurt in het Nederlands, Engels, Frans en Spaans. Voornamelijk Belgische, Spaanse en Nederlandse animatoren. De standplaats was eerder krap uitgevallen (campingkar en tentje). Bodem bestaat vooral uit steen en rots. Het winkeltje is beperkt geopend wat de nodige drukte creërt tijdens de piekuren. Het aanbod was (voor ons) voldoende.
De zwembaden zijn voldoende groot, tijdens het hoogseizoen is de capaciteit eerder krap. Er zijn twee stranden, geen zand, wel stenen. De rotskust leent zich prima voor snorkelen, ontdekkingen met de kinderen.
Aan de camping is een duikclub verbonden welke pas de tweede week van juli geopend werd. Voertaal voor de club is Frans en Spaans. CMAS en PADI instructeurs. Avond-animatie is in het kader van shows op ieders maat. Het nabije dorpje is klein en gezellig, de vismijn is een bezoek waard. Samengevat: wij keren terug.
