Het is geen vier sterren camping zoals het op de site wordt aangegeven, eerder 2 sterren! De camping ligt midden op een industrieterrein, niet echt geschikt voor een camping. De winkel en het restaurant zijn schrikbarend duur! Het zwembad stelt niets voor, het meer is ijskoud en ze hebben geen veld om voetbal te kunnen spelen oid. Sanitair wordt te weinig schoongemaakt. De eigenaren interesseren zich weinig voor hun gasten, maar het overige personeel is wel behulpzaam. Deze camping verdient absoluut geen 4 sterren!!!

Der Swiss Plage hat vor allem einen Vorteil: Er ist ruhig in der Nacht. Das ist gar nicht so leicht zu finden im Wallis, wo man fast überall auf Höhrweite der Auto- und Eisenbahn ist. Die Anlage ist überaus hübsch gelegen, wirkt aber stellenweise etwas ungepflegt. Mit dem Fahrrad kann man sich prima in der Gegend bewegen. Im Herbst ist der Platz auch wegen guter Besonnung zu empfehlen. Mit der ACSI-Karte ein echtes Schnäppchen.

Camping swiss plage ligt heerlijk centraal gelegen om diverse dalen te bezoeken.
Jammer dat het animatie-team er niet meer is: de accommodatie leent zich uitstekend voor allerlei activiteiten.
Dat campinggasten zich hier thuis voelen, blijkt uit het aantal malen dat zij terugkeren!
Ook wordt het steeds stiller op het terras bij het restaurant, nu de muziek ( enkele avonden per week ) is verdwenen.

Personeel van de camping is niet altijd even vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Receptie is open van 09.00 tot 12.00 en van 16.00 tot 19.00. kampwinkel 's-morgens een uurtje eerder. Dagelijks vers brood wat je ook vooraf kunt reserveren. Je mag zelf je plek uitzoeken. Goed restaurant, maar weinig keuze, terras is erg stil 's-avonds. Sanitair is top en altijd binnen redelijke afstand. Veel dingen in de omgeving om te bekijken en te doen. Het koelt 's-avonds altijd heerlijk af. Meer is te koud om in te zwemmen en men moet dus naar een ander meer 5 km verderop.

Deze camping viel ons tegen, vandaar dat we maar 1 nacht zijn gebleven.
Daardoor staan een hoop punten op nvt. Wat ons tegenviel is het meertje en strand, heel klein. Betalen voor warm water en de vindbaarheid van de camping. Waarschijnlijk zijn de wegen in die omgeving zeer recent aangepast, maar Tomtom bakte er niets van.
