Follow the Spiez-Kandersteg road and take exit Frutigen/Dorf. Cross the bridge and then follow the signs. The camp site is located in the centre of the town.

Prima schone camping met een prettige ligging ten opzichte van het dorp en diverse wandel- en fietsmogelijkheden. Sanitair in voldoende mate aanwezig en van goede kwaliteit. Grootste pluspunt is de uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst.

Voor familiebezoek in Bern vanaf zondag 6 september een week op deze càmping gestaan. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooie plaats met eigenaresse uitgezocht. Sanitair is schoon maar wat gedateerd. Receptie is niet bemand, je moet je melden bij het woonhuis. Aan het begin van de camping staat het vol met zomerhuisjes. Ziet er wat rommelig uit maar is geen minpuntje.

Als je vanaf de camping naar het dorp wandeld kom je aan het eind van de weg bij de bakker. Heerlijke broodjes voor het ontbijt. In het dorp vindt je een mooie COOP supermarkt. Zeer gesorteerd. Momenteel is Zwitserland voor ons goed betaalbaar. Je kunt vanaf de camping prachtige wandelingen maken. Wij zijn een aantal malen met de bus naar of richting Adelboden gegaan. Instappen bij het station is aan te raden om zeker te zijn van een zitplaats. Bij aankomst trein is bus vaak vol. Veel oudere bezoeker en gezinnen met jonge kinderen. Heerlijke vakantie gehad door het fantastische weer.

Als ervaren kampeerders troffen we zelden zo'n camping als deze. Nergens bordjes met wat je niet mag of wel moet, extreme rust, veel privacy, gratis internet, gratis fietsen, zeer vriendelijk eigenaarsechtpaar (hij zelfs nederlandssprekend), prachtige omgeving. We vonden het jammer dat de 23 dagen erop zaten en komen hier zeker terug.

Als tussenstop vlak voor de treintunnel bijna ideaal. Bijna, omdat wij graag iets op de camping hadden willen eten/snacken toen we om 19.00 uur aankwamen. Helaas moet je daarvoor het dorp in, naar een "echt" restaurant.

Een fijne en rustige camping met uiterst vriendelijke eigenaars. Het sanitair is prima en schoon. Kortom: ronduit een camping om naar terug te verlangen!
