Flat site beside canal/river between the 2 lakes, very little shade. No marked pitches. OK for larger vans with care. Many seasonal vans. Hardstanding MH area outside gate right beside canal. Separate tent area. Twin axle vans are directed to MH area when ground is wet.
4 amp hook-up, NOT the 8 amps indicated in ACSI guide. Possibly some 6 amp outlets. All outlets are 3 pin Swiss type. Adapters are normally available from reception, but all were out on loan and there were none available to purchase. Being 17.30 on a Sunday there was no possibility of purchasing one elsewhere so we had to make a temporary connection using an alternative plug.
2 toilet blocks with a mix of facilities, good standard. No waste water emptying other than at toilet emptying point , or at MH service point outside reception.
Pleasant walk to good supermarket on other side of canal, rather further to town centre. Generally very quiet.
Good tourist information available at reception. English spoken.

De camping is echt te gek als je de omgeving wilt zien, de loopafstand tot Interlaken en het station (bus en trein), is maar enkele minuten. Het is een zeer eenvoudige camping, maar wel goed. Kampeerplekken zijn niet gemarkeerd. Doordat op sommige plaatsen ongelijk zijn bleef er water staan na de regen, wat door de kleibodem slecht wegzakte.

Very Nice staff, Our picth was right on the canal, Woke up every morning to look at the mountains just amazing, Showers the best, Toilets excellent & spotless. Very close toTown so we able to walk everywhere.
