Do you enjoy peaceful camping on a small-scale campsite in the middle of nature? The small and lovely Camping L'Etruyère campsite is located in the French Vendeé. Here you'll be staying in a green oasis in an idyllic spot by a lake. In addition to camping pitches, the campsite also offers safari tents, chalets and a hiker's cabin. Enjoy a nice swim in the heated swimming pool with waterslide. There's a restaurant with a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. Do you like fishing? Then you can indulge yourself in the adjacent lake.

Small-scale camping

When you arrive at Camping L'Etruyère, you'll immediately notice the beautiful green location on the lake. The campsite has 16 camping pitches, all of which are spacious. There are plenty of shady spots thanks to the many trees. Do you want something more luxurious? Then rent a safari tent or chalet. The safari tent offers space for 6 people and is fully furnished.

The sanitary facilities are neat, tidy and well maintained. There are also baby changing facilities here. And sanitary facilities for disabled people.

Whoosh down the waterslide

The heated swimming pool is located at the front of the campsite. It features a fun waterslide that children can slide down. There's a separate paddling pool for the smallest campers. You can keep an eye on your children while enjoying the sun from the chairs and sun loungers next to the pool.

You cannot swim in the lake. However, you can explore the lake on a pedal boat or SUP board that you rent at the campsite.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - We rented a chalet for 21 days in September - absolute bliss. No dogs!! Almost no children. Very peaceful and pleasant campsite. Our hosts, Leonoor & Arno were fabulous. Left us completely alone and only saw them when we needed to. For the both of us this was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had, made better by their NO DOGS policy. We would thoroughly recommend this campsite to anyone who wants to get away from the stress of the daily grind and immerse yourself in natural surroundings with a vast lake to look at every day - but only 10 mins by car to SuperU, Intermarche & Lidl.
