Ars-en-Ré is a charming village in the west of the beautiful island of Île de Ré. This gem is located opposite the mainland French city of La Rochelle and is teeming with beautiful nature. The luxury family campsite Le Cormoran has everything you need as a camper with children: two heated swimming pools, a nice restaurant, a friendly children's club and an ideal location just 400 metres from the coast. It is rural but also close to charming villages and small towns, a number of which are easily accessible via the bike paths on the island.

Camping on the island of Île de Ré

The campsite is also signposted in the village of Ars-en-Ré. In this sunny part of western France, you will feel as though you are in another world. An attentive and friendly welcome awaits you at Le Cormoran Campsite, located just about 800 metres outside the village.

Between the sea and the forest

In total, the campsite offers 130 attractive camping spots, divided between touring pitches and glamping accommodations. If you come with your own tent, caravan or motorhome, you will be camping on a spacious, demarcated pitch in the shade or in the sun. The shared sanitary facilities are also very neat and modern. The stylish mobile homes that you can rent fit perfectly with a five-star campsite.

Swimming pool complex

There are two nice swimming pools heated to 29 degrees. What more could one ask for? Perhaps a comfortable lounger to recline on under your parasol? The waterpark is situated between the palm trees in an open and sunny spot next to the restaurant.
