You camp at this friendly family campsite in a quiet and natural green part of the German state of Lower Saxony. Campingplatz Bergmühle is an idyllic campsite with a lovely atmosphere, rurally located in a forest and by River Innerste. The campsite is south of the city of Hanover, close to several motorways. Thanks to the good accessibility, this is also a great location when passing through. Although the campsite is close to the motorway, you can hardly hear the traffic. Some of the pitches are right by the river and the toilet and washing facilities are well maintained. The old watermill and the accompany nostalgic building are real eyecatchers and give this campsite a rural charm.

Camping by the watermill

When you arrive at the small campsite, the first thing you will notice is that the site has been fitted out with a lot of care and attention and is also suitable for cycling campers. On the site behind an old watermill, the neat campsite has various types of spacious camping pitches, with or without shade.

Cool down in the river

You can have a wonderful time and enjoy the outdoor life to the full at this campsite. A swim in the river is lovely in hot weather. Children can have fun playing there. Furthermore, there is a miniature golf course and a playground to run around and play in. If you fancy a bite to eat in the evening, there is a restaurant only a kilometre away. There is also a small café at the campsite next to reception, where they also sell some basic necessities and fresh sandwiches.

Travelling party: Couple

Schön gelegener Campingplatz, Autobahn stört wenig. Romantische Anreise über zwei Holzbrücken über die Innerste, dazwischen die ehemalige Wassermühle mit Rezeption und Sanitär. Jeder Platz hat Wasser- und Stromanschluss. Hilfsbereite Betreiber. Einzig negativ ist die fehlende Planung der Sanitärreinigung, stand mal 22 Uhr vor gesperrter Tür, andermal 7:45 Uhr.
Das nahe gelegene Schloss Derneburg ist am Wochenende einen Besuch wert. Wie auch Ausflüge nach Hildesheim, Goslar und Wolfenbüttel.
