This site advertises free Wi-Fi but the service is very erratic in fact most of the time non existent. The open top bus advertised as stopping at the campsite is a myth, the open top bus only acts as a feeder service to the city centre, the inflated price for the tour is really not worth the money. We used the Dublin Bus which runs regular from out side the gate which is an excellent service with excellent free Wi-Fi.
There is a better choice of tours when you get to O\'Connell Street if you so wish.
Toilet maintenance is very sparse in fact the toilet blocks are a bit dated and dirty. Sanitary maintenance was very poor. We were also very disappointed in the Guinness experience, a very expensive pint at the end. The rest of Dublin was fantastic.
Nice clean site, well maintained. Great playground for children. clean flat hardstands for caravans & camper vans. Good facilities, toilets, laundry room, kitchen etc.
would recommend this caravan park if visiting Dublin. bus goes from the caravan park to the city centre regularly every day
Fijne vriendelijke camping.
We were here to be as close as possible to Dublin, which it is because the bus stops just outside the campsite. It takes approx. 45 minutes to get to Dublin citycentre and the ride is not really a nice one: many humps and roundabouts. The campsite is very noisy night and day because of the motorway. The pitches are spacious and surrounded by hedges (except the tentfield in the middle). Sanitary facilities were not maintained very well: the floors of the toilets were absolutely filthy in spite of the man sweeping them daily. Some facilities were broken and there was no indication that they were going to be mended soon. Wifi was avilabal but only worked in the direct vicinity of the office. If ever we were to visit Dublin again we would choose a campsite elsewhere in spite of the larger distance. Also the campsite was relatively speaking very expensive.
Excellent caravan park, facilities are spotless clean, great play ground and a huge public park next door.
Very clean - great facilities.
Great playground for the kids.
Could do with a little tuk shop.
Also very near road so bit noisy at times.
Overall very goog site, close to Dublin city and great base to visit all the sites from. Big public park next door well worth the stay.
