Camping St. Josef am Kalterer See is in the Italian province of South Tyrol, right by Lake Kaltern (Lago di Caldaro). A small path leads you straight to a lovely wooden jetty on the campsite's private beach. It's a wonderful spot for sunbathing, swimming, pedal boating and for enjoying the view. The turquoise water is exceptionally clear and offers views of the bottom of the lake.

The campsite is within a short distance (5 km) of the wine village of Kaltern an der Weinstraße (Caldaro sulla Strada del Vino) with its lively squares and narrow streets. In the mornings, you will meet the local residents enjoying their espressos on the bustling market square, and in the evenings, people relaxing with a glass of wine after a day of work.
