Nostalgic camping

With 70 camping pitches on grass, Camping Vahrner See has been offering the nostalgic experience of a real camping adventure by the water since 1956. Here, you can pick your own pitch for your tent or motorhome in the sun or shade. Motorbike riders are also warmly welcome at Vahrner See.

Important to know

If you are travelling with a motorhome or caravan, it's good to know that the entrance to the campsite is restricted by two small underpasses. The maximum clearance is 3.10 m (high) x 2.65 m (wide).

Eat at the tavern

The lovely family restaurant, located right by the lake, spoils guests from morning to evening with delicious local dishes. It is highly enjoyable on the sunny patio or in the charming tavern. The 3D archery range and the adjacent playground offer fun for young and old.

Walking and cycling routes from the campsite

This campsite in the middle of the Eisack Valley is a heavenly spot for walkers and cyclists. Follow the path through the old chestnut groves and by Lake Vahrn and discover rare animals and plants. The campsite is right by the Eisacktal cycle route between Brenner and Bozen on the junction to the Pustertaler cycle route.
