Camping De Wedze is situated in the nature reserve De Friese Wouden. On this mini campsite you will camp between the Frisian meadows. The wide view from your spacious pitch gives you a feeling of freedom. Freedom that you have plenty on and around the campsite. You can choose your own pitch. And don't forget to explore the beautiful surroundings. Cycle to nature reserves such as the Mieden or 'it Bûtenfjild'. Here you can admire the marshes, woods and meadows.

In the Frisian Woods

In the north of Friesland, in the middle of the meadows, you will find campsite De Wedze. You drive into peace and quiet when you reach the outskirts of the village of Twijzel. After a hedge of trees you arrive at this mini campsite. You are camping here in De Friese Wouden: there is nothing but nature around you. A wonderful holiday address for nature lovers and those looking for peace and quiet.

A campsite to suit you

Find your own pitch on the park-like camping site. The large lawns are neatly mowed and offer space for twenty-five spacious pitches. Would you like some privacy with a pitch next to a large hedge? Or will you go for the unobstructed view over the meadows? Luxury campers will also find the perfect place to stay at De Wedze campsite. The large safari tents look like hotel rooms. With a fully equipped kitchen, large patio and soft beds, the rooms are very comfortable.

Well-kept and complete sanitary facilities

The facilities on this mini campsite are excellent. Are you ready for a hot shower? Everything is at hand in and around the well-kept sanitary building. Showers, senior showers, toilets, washbasins, chemical toilets: everything is there.

Travelling party: Seniors

Tijdens de Hemelvaart hebben we hier 4 dagen gekampeerd in de grote caravan. Compleet ingericht, met alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs koffie, thee, suiker, olijfolie waren aanwezig. Dekbedden overtrekken zijn eveneens aanwezig. Schone mooie camping. Aanrader.
