We had stayed on this campsite several times in the past with friends from our motorcycle club & been made very welcome by the previous owners. The only problem we had was noisy people in cars arriving at 2am having been to a festival. This year we phoned to book only to find the site changed hands several years ago & motorcyclists are no longer welcome. The young lady said it was because of the noise. Motorcycles are not allowed noisy exhausts unlike cars with their dustbin size tailpipes. The age of our group is 50 - 70 years. We can go in our cars but not on our bikes? Very strange. We\'ll not be going at all due to the attitude of the owners.

We spent a lovely weekend at this park. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Plenty of space for tents and touring caravans - great to be able to chose between grass and hardstanding.

All facilities were immaculate - with soap/shampoo freely available.

The grounds of the park were beautifully kept with plenty of room for the children to play. Play area suitable for all children and the treasure trail around Slingsby was great fun.

During the day we visited Castle Howard, Flamingo Land and York. On an evening we walked to the local pub, The Grapes, for real ale and homecooked food.

A great park in a great location - we will be back
