Bergumermeer Holiday Park, in the Dutch province of Friesland, is a child-friendly campsite where you can also do watersports. The campsite is directly on the water, so it's a great base for all sorts of water sports. The campsite on the Frisian Bergumer Lake is less than half an hour's drive from the provincial capital, Leeuwarden. The campsite is located in flat, green, woody countryside: perfect for cycling and walking.
