We stayed for 8 nights with our car and caravan. This huge site is set in a forest which is part of a Dutch National Park The pitches are large and well numbered on a flat surface and the road system around the campsite is well maintained. Almost all pitches have nearby tall trees and bushes affording shade and wind reduction. The site has a nature police and as a result leave large parts of the site with grass uncut and the pitches seemed to be a little longer grass than on many sites but only noticeable on wet days. The toilets/ shower etc are excellent with a large disabled shower but a word of warning for Brits they are unisex with no separate men and women. The bar / restaurant is large with nice Belgian beer but the restaurant is only open a few days a week and then only served Pizza which we tried and found it great. There is a large play area for children and teenagers and room undercover for those wet days. Reception staff are friendly and speak good English as is the norm in the Netherlands and the shop is small but sells essentials. The site is situated in the Meinweg park which is huge and lovely and a favourite with the Dutch people although for some reason doesn't seem to attract many Brits as for the 8 days of our stay we saw one other British unit on site and one outer british car on the road. The German border is 7 miles away and about a mile away is a decent Supermarket and a really nice frituure.
