The quiet campsite Gössl is located on the far side of a valley, approximately 350 metres from Gössl. The campsite terrain is essentially one big Alpine pasture, without trees, where you can pitch your tent or caravan as you see fit. Surrounding the campsite is also a meadow, separated from the campsite by a simple wooden fence. You will really be camping in the middle of nature here! The campsite is situated directly on the crystal-clear Grundlsee. The lake has not been discovered by tourists yet.

We inadvertently turned up on an Austrian Bank Holiday weekend but the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Really well run campsite- everything clean and all facilities available. We ended up staying 5 nights! The setting in the mountains at the end of Grundslee is so amazing.
