Nice site and a perfect location for those visiting the Menen Gate. Footpath from site and only a short walk.

The toilet block is small with only 2 cubicles and showers. However it is only a 10 minute walk away from Ypres/Iepres We arrived and it was full for apart from the camping meadow l, this meant we couldn’t take the car on site but it was parked on a quiet road alongside the site.

A regular stay of a couple of days up to three times a year when journeying between the UK and South France. The site is divided into two sections. One is a proper campsite with large pitches having water, electricity and waste water facilities. The other section is a camping car park with more restricted space and a reduced price. Both sections have access to a well maintained small sanitary block. Dishwashing facilities are limited, and the water is cool. A camping car waste water dump is available. The town centre is within ten minutes walking distance, with plenty of shops, restaurants and, of course, the 20:00 hours Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate. Online booking is recommended, as a gate entre code is then given. Online booking is necessary in winter.
