Grønhøj Strand Camping is situated in North Jutland, the northernmost region of Denmark. The name says it all: this campsite revolves around the beach. You camp here only seven hundred metres away from the North Sea. A ten minute walk and you reach a wide sandy beach. Grønhøj Strand Camping is a large family campsite for a quiet, relaxing camping holiday. Without a busy entertainment programme for children, but with playgrounds, a mini golf course and a petting zoo where they can go on pony rides.

large secluded pitch with excellent facilities.spent two nights. the beach is accessed by a secure gate and a short walk. a must to see. Miles of sand and sea small town of Saltum 4kms has great supermarkets and probably lots more but we did not check. the staff were very friendly and helpful. pitches huge with hedges dividing. highly recommended. short drive to Frederikshavn for ferry to Gothenburg.
