This large family campsite located in the northernmost part of Denmark, North Jutland, is within walking distance of a beautiful sandy beach. North Jutland is known for its tranquillity, abundant space, unspoilt nature and beautiful beaches. An ideal holiday destination for families, peace seekers and nature lovers. At Hals Strand Camping you can almost smell the sea, and you have a view it from many of the pitches. The campsite has a heated swimming pool, a large playground and a restaurant & bar. The town of Hals, which features several shops, restaurants and a harbour, is about 6 kilometres away.

Large camping area by the sea

When you arrive at Hals Strand Camping, you'll immediately notice the vast, flat terrain. The campsite is especially suitable for campers who come with their own tent, caravan or motorhome. The camping pitches are separated by small hedges and low vegetation. There are also some rental accommodations available, including a few mobile homes and apartments.

Swimming fun in the heated pool

At the front of the campsite you'll find a heated swimming pool with a large slide and a separate paddling pool for small children. Go down the slide together! There are sun loungers around the pool where you can relax and enjoy the sun.

Playground and cuddling with goats

Children will have a great time at the campsite. There's a large playground with climbing equipment, two bouncy castles and climbing walls. You can kick a ball together on the football field. Another popular activity is adventure mini golf. Have fun on the 12 courses, each more challenging than the last.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Den Campingplatz würden wir als einen kleineren Platz einstufen. Dennoch gibt es ein sehr schönes und relativ neues beheiztes Freibad (26 Grad Wassertemperatur) mit einer sehr großen Rutsche. Diese war mit der ausschlaggebenden Grund mit zwei Kindern (4 und 7 Jahre) diesen Platz auszuwählen.
Der Sandstrand ist von jedem Stellplatz aus fussläufig zu erreichen. Es kann der direkte Sandstrand, aber auch der unter– oder oberhalb liegende Sandstrand genutzt werden. Uns hat der etwas oberhalb liegende etwas besser gefallen. Gehzeit dürfte 3 Minuten länger gewesen sein. Wir hatten den Platz 152 in der Nähe des Sanitärgebäudes. Sehr zu empfehlen, da so der Weg zu den Toiletten und auch zum Freibad relativ kurz sind. Die zur Verfügung stehende Küche mit Herden, Backöfen und Sitzmöglichkeiten ist sehr ansprechend. Reisende mit Zelt haben diese gern zum Frühstück/Abendessen (warm/trocken) genutzt.

Die Häfen in Hou und Hals, aber auch in Saeby besuchen. In Hou und Hals gibt es sehr schöne und neue Spielplätze für die Kinder.
