The campsite is located just outside the town of Northiam. At 300 m distance runs the river Rother, in which fishing is allowed. Next to it is a transit station for the steam train that runs from Tenderden to Bodiam Castle. Rye is 10 km away and the beach (Camber Sands) on 15 km.
