excellent site, spacious pitches ,quiet, good clean facilities,restaurant closed but plenty nearby small town with mini market within 2kms

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Sight was very quiet when we arrived, we were able to pick our own pitch. Pitches are on terrace’s a little small without any hedges, some trees for shade. Toilet facilities were excellent and were cleaned regularly. Plenty of hot water. Including for dish washing. There is a little shop on sight provided essential’s, and fresh bread in the mornings. The restaurant was closed so can’t comment. The swimming pool was open. It looked good although not large. The area is superb, located north of the Picos Europa mountains and a short distance from the north coast with spectacular beaches. The mountains are magnificent with excellent walking and drives. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Our ferry was at 4 pm from Santander an hours drive away. We were able to stay on sight till 2 pm that day without paying for an extra day. I imagine it will be busy during high season. We would definitely return.

A wonderful site - easy access from the motorway - nicely spaced hard standing for motorhomes - with the new toilet and showers best the facilities we have ever used in a site, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The chalets and glamping pods look well set up. Fresh bread baked on site and basic shop for some essentials. A play area for families and the kids all seem to have fun playing. We didn’t use the restaurant so cannot comment. We cycled down to a couple of different beaches which were easy to get to - coming back up the hills we were glad if the electric assist!
