Camping Playa Sauces

May/June 2025 visit. A real gem of a site. Second year of visiting. Stayed 5 nights. Generous level pitch on hardstanding with EHU. Showers/toilets constantly being cleaned and lots of hot water. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bar/restaurant is exceptional (we had our evening meal there every night). Food is locally sourced and freshly cooked - menu of the day is €12 and that includes wine! The waiter is a star and so helpful. Bakery just outside site and Supermarket about 800 metres on top of hill. Beautiful beach - one of the best in Spain is an easy flat walk and a bit further on the delightful town is full of bars/restaurants and shops. Playa Sauces gets 5 stars from us and we will back next year. Rhod & Lynne Porch

Stayed for two nights. Very friendly owner and a lovely little site. Easy walk along the promenade by the beach into town.

Fine for 1 night, but the pitches were muddy and small. Friendly reception, no shop or bar, and a long walk to town, so if you have hooked up like we had, going shopping was hard! Nice beaches nearby, maybe this campsite functions better mid summer. It was nice and quiet, no noisy traffic.
