The region to the south-west of Bordeaux is famed for its wonderful nature and lovely climate. Pine trees, the ocean and the coastal area with its wonderful bays and lakes characterise this area. Camping Le Braou is near the town of Audenge, on the bay of Arcachon. You are camping here in the heart of the Regional National Park, Les Landes de Gascogne. The fabulous surroundings are best explored by bicycle.

Camping amidst green

The varied vegetation of flowers, shrubs, coniferous and deciduous trees gives the terrain a pleasant atmosphere. The pitches are at a reasonable distance from each other between the trees and bushes. These generally provide the necessary shade. A range of accommodation is available to hire on site, from chalets to caravans and mobile homes. 

Please note that trailers on the pitch are subject to a charge.

A lovely swimming pool

The medium-sized swimming pool is in a central location on the campsite and is surrounded by lovely bushes and trees. A tiled terrace stretches around the basin, where loungers are ready and waiting for you. You can also find a shallow kid's pool. A restaurant with a limited menu is situated beside the swimming pool. There is also a shop with fresh bread and more. You will have to head to the supermarket for groceries. It's just a short walk away (one kilometre).

Entertainment

The campsite offers entertainment for young and old alike in the high season. You can take part in an aqua gym or participate in the gymnastics programme in one of the tents next to the swimming pool. A snack bar can be found in the wooden shack. All types of entertainment can be found in the evenings during the high season, from bingo and games evenings to cabaret and theatre.

Travelling party: Couple

Staff at reception very welcoming. Plenty of shade on pitches, needed for hot weather. Facilities at site fine but one shower block flooded and always had a pool of water. Our pitch was tree roots and pine needles, with mosquitoes! There was no bread service, nearest boulangerie 10 minutes walk. Restaurants and boulangerie in area very good. Enjoyed visiting the area and would visit again.

geweldig goede camping, vriendelijk, goede warme douches,goed zwembad. Je kan hier op korte afstand fietsen naar een carrefour en de andere kant naar de bassin van Arcachon. Daar kan je heerlijk fruits de mer eten of in restaurant chez Genevieve (echt een aanrader)Goede grote plaatsen en goed verlicht ^\'s avonds.Bakker op korte afstand.

Een top camping!! Schoon en gezellig. Heerlijke douches, prachtig zwembad en gezellige bar. Fietspad naar Arcachon om de hoek. Winkels op fietsafstand. Echt een aanrader.
