Camping Paradis Les Rives de l'Adour is not far from the town of Saint-Sever. You are in the Landes department, about seventy kilometres from the Atlantic coast. Saint-Sever is a medieval town with plenty of shops. The small-scale campsite, situated by the river Adour, offers about eighty touring pitches and twenty rental accommodations (mobile homes and lodges).

Camping in the green

The campsite is very well looked after and has mainly demarcated touring pitches. The natural boundaries are neatly trimmed. You can choose from pitches with a lot of sun or more shade. The flowering shrubs and high trees give the site a pleasant, green appearance. Those without camping equipment can stay in one of the mobile homes or lodges. The campsite is mainly visited by French families with children.

Enjoy sports and play

The campsite is situated next to the municipality's sports fields. From 1 July to 31 August, you have free use of the football pitches, tennis courts, beach volleyball courts and swimming pool (with diving tower). Anglers can choose a nice spot at the river Adour. You can walk there in less than a minute. On the campsite itself, you will find a jeu-de-boules court, table tennis table and miniature golf course.

Children can play in the playground or on the inflatable cushion. Furthermore, an entertainment team is active in the high season. Especially for the youngest campers, there is a mini club. Later in the day, themed evenings are organised. Fun for the whole family!

Liked - Zwembad direct aan de camping. Sanitair was schoon.
Disliked - Moderniseer het toiletgebouw, het is schoon maar verouderd.

Liked - We zochten een camping vlakbij de route van de Tour de France. Dat werd deze in Saint Sever. Hele mooie ruime plaatsen, maar er werd vrijwel niet gekampeerd. We mochten zelf een plekje uitzoeken en de tuinman maaide op verzoek ons plekje nog even. Geen andere Nederlanders en er werd goed Engels gesproken bij receptie. Zwembad is praktisch op de camping en leuke badjuf met humor.
Camping is aan het uitbreiden, er komen nog 20 mobil homes bij.
We werden nog getrakteerd op een mooi vuurwerk!
Disliked - 2e sanitairgebouw leek dagen niet schoongemaakt. Alles gemengd, niet zo prettig om te douchen naast urinoirs.
Campingterrein zou beter onderhouden kunnen worden. Ik had graag een dagje op de maaier gezeten om het mooi te maken.

No hay parque infantil al contrario de lo que anuncian
