Camping Beau Rivage is situated at the foot of the fortress walls of medieval Navarrenx. Here you will camp in the Pyrenees, on a campsite full of flowers and shrubs. Everything on this campsite makes it a friendly campsite in the South of France: the spacious pitches in nature, the warm-hearted owners and the beautiful location.

A camping pitch for everyone

There is a pitch for everyone on this campsite. Are you coming with a larger motor home? Then the paved pitches are ideal. Here you can enjoy your privacy. You can pitch your tent or caravan on the spacious lawns. On these pitches, you are in the middle of nature. Surrounded by trees and bushes, these are lovely spots. Sit down on a camping chair and enjoy the peace and quiet and the greenery. On every pitch, you can sit in the shade of a tree.

Swimming in the Gave

Swimming, kayaking, fishing: it's all possible at Beau Rivage. The river Gave flows right next to the campsite. Take a run and dive into the water! It's a great place to swim. Or rent a canoe or kayak. Want to cool down quickly after a long walk? Then you can also jump into the swimming pool at the campsite.

A good dose of sociability

The owner of Beau Rivage campsite is passionate about his little restaurant. Every evening he bakes fresh pizzas and fries, always with a smile on his face. For a good portion of fun and chips, you can order in advance. Would you like to arrange your own camping meal? Then it's only a few minutes' walk to the supermarket.

Liked - Site adjacent to fortified town with all the necessities. Market on Wed very good. Comfy grass and hard standing pitches

Liked - Really good place to stay, cute little town to visit, staff at campsite really nice and helpful
Disliked - More toilet facilities and another washing machine. Would be ideal to include a dog shower with a washing machine to be able to wash dog stuff.

Liked - We have stayed before but only for a night stop over before travelling on. This time two nights and loved the experience.
Showers were lovely and hot, hopefully not because “off peak”.
Disliked - Nothing to say about anything that would improve our stay.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - A welcome on arrival. Our pitch was fine, with shade and sun, perfect to have water and electricity on the pitch. Town centre within 10-15 minutes walk and well-stocked Carrefour supermarket even closer. Navarrenx is a lovely little bastide town, has an interesting small museum too. The on-site mechanic was brilliant as when we were about to leave the waste water bracket broke and he was so kind & managed to do a repair which enabled us to continue on our holiday!!! I cannot praise him enough.
Disliked - As it was quite full my only niggle was that the showers were sometimes not as you like them but I think this fault was due to other users not cleaning it after use.

Liked - The campsite is cute, friendly and incredibly welcoming. The local village and surrounding area is nothing short of gorgeous. It has all the amenities you need and has a real 'home' feel about it.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - We came back to Camping Beau Rivage with our family, after a 13 year gap from when we first discovered it! It is truly an exceptional campsite and I love it even more now I have younger children and can see the benefits of shaded pitches and easy access to the onsite swimming pool. Newer additions, (that weren't there when we last visited) including the bar and local market on Monday, made it even better!
Disliked - Nothing at all. I can't wait to come back.

Liked - Small site. Friendly staff. Clean toilets and showers.
Nice pool and bar (open in the eve)
Pizza available on site.
Short walk to town.
Plenty of information given to us by the staff.
We stayed three nights and then returned again for two nights as we liked it a lot.
Disliked - First stay here we had good WiFi but this time on a diff pitch it kept dropping out.

Liked - Lovely site, friendly staff, close to town with nice restaurants. Fair size pitches. Only 4 electric points between 6 pitches.
Disliked - Only one sanitaire block open with 2 toilets and 2 showers. Apparently they only open both when site at 50% capacity.
