What a delightful site. We couldn't fault it in any way as the facilities were always spotless, the pitches were spacious and the gardens and lawned areas were pretty and we'll maintained. We didn't eat at the campsite but if the smell of the homemade pizzas was anything to go by, I'm sure the food is excellent. We'd certainly recommend this site and in two weeks travel in France it was the best site by a long way.
I hadn't intended to stay here, but was forced to cut short a day's journey because of problems with my car. I count myself extremely lucky to have found this site by chance; it was one of the two or three best I encountered on my holiday. Well kept, decent sized pitches with the rare combination of shade and fine views, excellent sanitary facilities, and all at a relatively modest price.
A lovely site with lots of flowers and very convenient for visiting the attractive, busy little town.
Reception is open for only an hour in the morning and again in the evening. The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks good English.
Pitches are spacious with a good choice of shade or sun, woodland view or open views of the mountains.
The sanitary areas are very clean, some are heated.
The pool is heated and WiFi reception is good in the TV/games room.
Lots of lovely drives or good walking in the area and the town with its medieval area and castle are well worth a visit.
Had a very nice stay the surrounding area is amazing. Lovely views of the mountains and white water rivers.
Quite amazing to look up and see vultures flying overhead. Lovely town and good market great to practice your french.
Only downside was dogs from surrounding farms barking at night.
We stayed four nights.
A wonderful experience.Lovely helpful owner, very well kept,a great heated pool.A lovely town and area to explore Would highly recommend
Stayed here for a week in June and despite the weather we could not fault the site. Beautiful well kept pitches, landscaped grounds, spotless facilities, some heated (and needed even in June!) The owners are so friendly and helpful. short drive into St.Jean for supermarkets. Stunning views from the site and on one day, 15 Griffon vultures circling overhead. We thoroughly recommend this site and will revisit. Our thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay.
