Do you like camping on a small, quiet campsite with lots of greenery? Camping Du Colombier is located in French Auvergne, in the heart of the volcanic region. This friendly campsite is ideal for families with (small) children and nature lovers. It is also ideal as a transit campsite, given its convenient location near the A89 motorway.

Small family campsite

Camping Du Colombier has pitches with a grass base. You camp on grass and the pitches vary in size from 80 to 100 m2. Don’t have your own camping equipment? You can also book accommodation. For example, a chalet, bungalow or gîte. Dogs are welcome on the campsite.

Swimming pool, good food and sports activities

The campsite is simple, but there are enough facilities for a nice stay. There is a small swimming pool that is partly covered. Ideal for a refreshing morning dip! Has swimming made you hungry? Order a tasty dish from the snack bar. Want to do something active? Play a game of table tennis, jeu de boules, volleyball or minigolf. There is also a playground, board games and you can borrow a book.

Volcanoes and beautiful nature

The region is known for several (extinct) volcanoes. For example, the famous Puy de Dôme (27.5 km) is just half an hour's drive away. You can climb to the top on foot or take the cogwheel train for spectacular views.

A fun outing for the whole family is the Vulcania theme park (25.5 km). This interactive science park combines education and entertainment relating to volcanoes and natural phenomena. Here children and adults can enjoy fascinating exhibits and attractions.

Liked - Ein sehr netter, sympathischer kleiner Zeltplatz mit sauberen sanitären Anlagen. Platz ist hübsch angelegt und die Gebäude sehr charmant. Großer schöner Spielplatz vorhanden. Sehr nette Betreiber, die sich um das Wohl der Gäste kümmern. Am Abend kann man dort Abendessen, die Burger sind super lecker
