Camping Au Bon Endroit is a spacious and quiet campground. The campground is located in a park with high trees within walking distance of the small provincial town of Paray-le-Monial. This pilgrimage destination is located in the wine region of South Burgundy between Digoin and Charolles, an area where you can take wonderful bike rides. The quiet campground in the park with well maintained sites is very popular with the Dutch in the high and low seasons.

You have the choice of spacious campsites with fences. You'll have plenty of shade under the old high trees. You'll camp on grass in the open field. A fenced off site with a little shade is also one of the options. There are fully furnished chalets for hire. Campers are welcome.

Take a dip

The owner will ensure a pleasant stay and will give you tips about the surrounding area. There is a swimming pool with parasols and a kiddie pool at the reception. In the high season, you can have a drink in the bar or in the shade on the small terrace. For campers who like fresh bread for breakfast, there is the breakfast servivce.

The sanitary facilities are simple. The three complexes are located a short distance from the campsites.

Quiet

The quiet campground attracts primarily seniors, families with young children and cyclists. Small children can play in the kiddie pool and on a few playground items. Want to be active on the campground? Then play a round of table tennis or use the jeu-de-boules pitch or the sports field.

Liked - The space is very nice and comfortable and the comfortable, large and spacious plots.
Disliked - The pool is very short and the restaurant gave the feeling that it was basic.

Liked - Friendly reception, beautiful swimming pool, beautiful sites, actually just a good campsite.
Disliked - Snack bars are only for drinks and not for fries or what we call snacks in the Netherlands.
Toilet seat for the gentlemen, so that the gentlemen don't have to go to the ladies' restroom (that was what happened).
Warm water can be a bit warmer.

Liked - Very warm and welcoming owners! The sanitairy looked very new and was superclean! We enjoyed a great meal. The atmosphere was really cosy. And the whole campsite looked very well maintained. There was en thunderstorm while we there and the owner went out of his way to make sure everyone stayed safe. Chapeau for this lovely couple!

Liked - Such a pleasant clean and tidy site, large grass pitch with shady trees as well as sunny spots.
Easy 20 minutes walk into town on a green path.
Happy and inviting owners.
Town has a good feel, very cycle friendly, all the shops you need and a good cycle repair shop
Disliked - For us in 30+ degrees heat the glasshouse over the pool was unnecessary

Liked - Plaats erg groot. Camping ook prima ingericht
Disliked - Erg jammer dat de douche koud was. Het water voor de afwas was zelfs warmer. Na een dag rijden wil je wel graag warm douchen. Zo wel 's avonds als vroeg in de ochtend bleken de douches koud te zijn. Dat verwacht je niet voor die prijs (€62 voor 1 nacht)

Liked - Hele mooie camping met mooie bomen en veel schaduw. Prettige sfeer!
Disliked - Zijn een aantal jaar niet in Frankrijk geweest dus was vergeten dat je strakke zwembroek aan moet. Jammer dat de kinderen daardoor geen duik in het zwembad konden nemen
