On the left bank of the Loire, in the village of Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire, you'll find Camping de l'Ile. Here you'll be camping right along the river in a wooded area. The campsite is part of Aquadis Loisirs, a chain of campsites with sixteen small-scale natural campsites all across France.

Camping in the greenery

Camping de l’Ile has spacious, well-maintained pitches, many set in shady spots. That's because the campsite is located in a forest. Pick a place from the nearly two hundred touring pitches or rent a mobile home or lovely bungalow tent. The campsite is most popular with families with children. This is borne out by the amenities.

Sporty on holiday

Children can enjoy themselves in the playground or on the bouncy castle. But there's also plenty to do for sporty campers at the multi-sport field, the jeu-de-boules pitch, the beach volleyball court or the table tennis table. Also fun for the whole family: a round of mini golf or geocaching. There's an entertainment programme in the summer months (at least twice a week).

The campsite is right along the Loire river. This is a veritable paradise for canoeists and kayakers. You can paddle down the river at a leisurely pace, but you can also seek adventure on a raft. And those simply looking to relax can head off to the campsite's sunbathing lawn.

Dining with a view

The campsite has a restaurant (limited menu) where you can also choose an unlimited buffet plan. Take-away meals are also available. From the terrace you can look out over the lively Loire river. This makes enjoying a bite outside even more fun! The campground shop offers fresh bread and breakfast. You can also go there for some groceries.
