La Confluence is located on the banks of the river Cher with view on the town. Spacious pitches. The stalactite caves and mushroom nurseries in the neighborhood are worth visiting. Don't forget to pay a visit to the castle of Ussé (sleeping-beauty castle) and to Villandry with its beautiful gardens.

This is the worst site we have ever stayed at, sanitary facilities dire, only one we available for whole site. Rusted pipe work, no seat on wc. The staff are sullen and unhelpful. The grounds are very scruffy and unkempt, with broken branches around. Some electrical points broken and unusable, even the ones that are usable are badly maintained. Avoid if you can.
