Camping Les Prés is located in a wooded area in the heart of France near Grez-sur-Loing. The historic town centre is within walking distance and a river runs alongside the peaceful campsite.

The île-de-France region is centrally located, southwest of Paris. Just 10 minutes from Les Prés campsite is the town of Fontainebleau with its castle of the same name in the forest. This area is world famous among climbers who come to practise on the immense boulders. Nature lovers and those looking for peace and quiet as well as hikers and cyclists will enjoy themselves here. Campers can cool down in the river surrounded by beautiful trees. In addition, the volleyball field invites sports enthusiasts to play a game.

Camping near Fontainebleau

From Fontainebleau it is only a short drive on the D607 before you arrive at the quiet campsite. Immediately, a spacious feeling dominates. The reception building has a recognisable flat roof and there you will meet the young owners of the campsite. Climbers like to stay at this campsite because of the 'boulders' where the training takes place. For children there is a small playground and in the river you can paddle. The bakery and a small supermarket are within walking distance in Grez-sur-Loing.

Choose a lovely pitch

The campsite has many beautiful spots that are all spacious. Some are situated in an open field, others along neat little streets with lots of greenery. A special field has been set up for tent campers who want to enjoy the simplicity of camping without electricity. The sanitary facilities are adequate, but are in need of renovation.

Liked - Location next to a beautiful swimming river. Coffee/Mexican food stand. Friendly staff. Good value.
Disliked - Opportunity to order bread on the campsite (local bakery closed on a Wednesday) & the midges in the evening (bring insect coils / spray). A washing machine would be handy too.

Liked - This was a quick one night stop over for us on our way to Paris from the South. Nice cheap price. Secure site. Good sized pitch and excellent, helpful English speaking staff.
Disliked - Toilets were a bit smelly. Road nearby was noisy for a while in the evening (it was a Friday night) but it was very quiet over night and there was a party going on in the nearby football club house but that finished at 11pm and didn't spoil our night.
