In the southern French region of Languedoc-Roussillon, among endless vineyards and olive groves, lies the brand new de l'Olivigne Flower Campsite. This beautiful campsite is within walking distance of the medieval town of Bize-Minervois. Here, you will enjoy peace, conviviality and lots of water fun in the ecological swimming pool and the river Cèze.

Beautiful and new campsite

As you drive onto the grounds, you immediately notice that this is a brand new campsite! Everything is new and beautifully laid out. The roads are good, the sites spacious and easily accessible, and the plumbing is probably nicer than at your house. All camping facilities such as water, electricity, power and dirty water disposal are nearby. Spend the night in your own camping equipment or in caravan, lodge tent or hiker's hut.

Kids club, social evenings and excursions

In high season, the campsite is mostly visited by families from all kinds of countries. Fun activities and games are then organised for little ones between the ages of two and eight. Families know how to find the playground, sports field and table tennis table. For the adults, there are cozy evenings where meals are eaten together. You can also opt for a guided excursion to Bize-Minervois.

Chlorine-free swimming

What is a camping vacation without water fun? For that, you'll be fine at the de l'Olivigne Campsite. There is a fine, ecological outdoor chlorine-free pool. This is because the water in the pool is naturally purified. Directly near the campsite also runs the river Cèze. You can have fun swimming, paddling and clambering over the rocks here. You can find even more water fun in the village of Bize-Minervois, within walking distance of the campsite. Here is a charming outdoor pool.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - The site is obviously fairly new and there is work still ongoing. We stayed there for 2 nights in a premium pitch white as massive with a pergola for shade, a picnic bench and electric for €24 a night with ASCI. We went to Carcassonne for the day which was 50 minutes away. Swimming pool was a freshwater bio pool and was very refreshing in the blazing heat. Toilets and showers were the best I’ve seen anywhere and looked newly built. There was a small bar there and children’s play area.
Disliked - When the campsite is full then the swimming pool might be a bit crowded due to size.

Liked - Staff were great, especially Anthony on reception, so helpful! Pitches were a good size and reasonable prices. Pool was clean and the shower/toilet block was immaculate. Was great to have use of the camp fridge in the washing up area as well!

A rustic campsite in a quiet area surrounded by vineyards. A small village close by with a couple of nice restaurants, Cafe de midi v. good, and Proxi shop very well stocked. The campsite facilities were modern and kept extremely clean and the reception staff very helpful and friendly. Could probably do with an additional facilities block in time, as get quite busy. Would recommend and go again

Liked - Prachtige omgeving om te wandelen, ook met je hond, mooie plekken, perfect sanitair, je loopt zo dorpje in. Horeca zag er wat verlaten uit, geen gebruik van gemaakt. Fijn dat er een bakker dichtbij is en ook de Proxi in het dorp is handig! Ben op de fiets naar Intermarche Contact gegaan. Was goed te doen. Wel fijn als je fiets met dikke banden hebt ivm stenige en glibberige ondergrond (het had veel geregend). Goodtruck op donderdag was erg fijn. Heerlijk eten. Kipburger met friet was top!
Disliked - Terrein maakt zeer rommelige indruk,. Waterafvoer is slecht geregeld. Camping heeft idd menselijke maat, alles is professioneel geregeld maar je hebt totaal geen contact met eigenaren of receptie: je boekt online, je betaalt vooruit online, je krijgt code voor slagboom, je checkt in bij receptie, geen enkele aanbeveling of welkomstinformatie met paar leuke tips ofzo en daarna interesseert niemand meer wat je doet.

Liked - Glorious countryside surrounds you on the campsite you can choose to walk the many paths or relax on the terrace of your mobile home, taking in the views whilst listening to the wildlife even better with a bottle of Que! ??
