Campsite Le Vaurette is located on the northern bank of the Dordogne, near the village of Argentat. From the green campsite you have a view of the wooded hills, which border the Dordogne valley. Many Dutch campers will find a camping spot directly by the river or closer to the hills. The Dordogne is a source of entertainment for young and old.

Comfortable camp site on the banks of the river Dordogne, in protected natural area. The river is a source of entertainment as well as the beautiful heated swimming-pool. At sporting events there is a large TV screen. Various sports courts. Free tennis in mai/june/september. Canoeing and walking from the camp site. Many possibilities for making excursions. Dutch-French management.

This campsite is in a beautiful part of the Dordogne valley. I stayed there just before the children broke up for summer this year and it was beautifully peaceful. The swimming pool is absolutely superb. The showers were clean with plenty of hot water. As it was their 50th anniversary I was presented with a bottle of wine upon leaving. Will definitely return.
